Solution

Ductility

  • Ductility is defined as the property of metals by which it can be transformed into thin wires.
  • The elements which show such properties are called ductile elements.
  • For example Copper (Cu), Aluminium (Al), and Platinum (Pt) show such properties.

Malleability

  • Malleability means that the metals can be hammered into very fine or thin sheets.
  • Metals show both the properties i.e. Metals are malleable as well as ductile in nature.
  • For example Silver (Ag) and Gold(Au) are the most malleable among the metals.
