CHARACTERISTICS OF METALS:
- They are generally hard & therefore their densities are generally very high.
- They possess metallic lusture
- They are good conductors of heat and electricity.
- They can be beaten into thin sheets. This property of metals is called as malleability.
- They can be drawn into thin wires. This property of metals is known as ductility.
- They generally produce ringing sound hence they are said to be sonorous.
