Arthropoda is the largest phylum of Animalia. They have an organ-system level of organization. They have bilateral symmetry, are segmented coelomate organisms. The body is covered with a chitinous exoskeleton. The body consists of the head, thorax, and abdomen. Sensory organs like antennae, eyes, statocysts, or balance organs are present. Excretion is by Malpighian tubules. They have jointed appendages. They are mostly dioecious. Fertilization is internal. Mostly oviparous. eg. Honey bee, Silkworm, Lac insect, Mosquitoes, Locust, Crab.
