Define Planets. What is the difference between Inner Planets and Outer Planets and How are Planets different from Stars?

Solution:
Planets are the celestial bodies that do not have their own heat and light.

Difference between the inner planets and outer planets are :
Inner Planet Outer Planets
Inner Planets exists nearer to the sun and are between Sun and the Asteroid Belt.
Outer Planets exists beyond the Asteroid Belt.
Inner Planets are made up of rocks and therefore, they are called Terrestrial Planets. Outer Planets are made up of liquids and gases and therefore, they are called Jovian Planets.
Examples are : Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars. Examples are : Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.

The difference between Planets and Stars are:
Planets Stars
Planets do not have their own heat and light. Stars have their own heat and light.
Planets revolve around a Star. Stars does not revolve around planet. It remains in the center.
People may live on a planet or may land on a planet. E.g. Earth, Mars. It is impossible to live on Stars because it is made up extremely hot gases. E.g. Sun, Proxima Centauri.
