Pneumonia:

1. A serious illness of the lungs in which a bacteria name diplococcus pneumonia infects the lungs and painful cough will be there.
2. It is a highly contagious lung infection characterised by inflammation of air sacs in one or both the lungs.
3. The air sacs get filled with fluid or pus resulting in fever, chills, cough and breathing difficulty.
