Solution
The bending of a ray of
light
obliquely on an interface when it passes from one medium to another is called
refraction.
Refraction
is the bending of a ray of light when it enters a medium where its speed is different.
Refraction occurs due to changes in the medium optically.
Examples of refraction: Twinkling of stars in the sky, rainbow formation in the sky, pool of water appears to be less deep than what it is, etc.
