Define saturated solution and give one example.

Saturated solution - At a particular temperature, when no more amount of solute can be dissolved in the given amount of solvent, that solution is termed a saturated solution.

For example - If 50 g of sugar can be dissolved in 100 ml of water, if we keep on adding sugar to it at some point no more sugar will dissolve in it, at that point the solution is called a saturated solution of sugar.
