  2. The distance of an object covered in a given interval of time enables us to know whether an object is moving fast or slow.
  3. Motion of an object can be measured in terms of speed .
  4. It means slow-moving objects move at a slower speed and fast-moving objects move at a higher speed.
  5. Speed of an object can be calculated by the below formula.
  6. Speed (S) = Distancetravelled(d)Time(t).
  7. The commonly used units of speed are kilometre per hour (kmh) and metre per second (ms) .
