  2. Anaerobic respiration in yeast produces ethanol, carbon dioxide and energy.
  3. Anaerobic respiration in yeast follows the following equation :

C6H12O6 ⇢ C2H5OH + CO₂ + Energy(ATP).
(Glucose) (ethanol) (carbon dioxide)

4.Anaerobic respiration in muscle cells follows the following equation :

C6H12O6 ⇢ C2H6O3 + Energy
(Glucose) (lactic acid) (ATP).
