Circulatory motion.
The motion of an object about a fixed point ( or a fixed axis) along the circumference of a circle, without changing its position is called circulatory motion.
It is also called rotatory motion.
Examples of circulatory motion are: The Earth spinning on its axis, a spinning top, a spinning wheel, a rotating fan, a merry-go-round, etc.
