Dear student
1. The property of metals, which makes the metals to be drawn into thin sheets is called malleability.
2. The property of metals, which makes the metals to be drawn into thin wires is called ductility.
3. Sonority is the property of a metal which produces ringing sound when struck by a hard object.
4. conductivity means that the metal is the good conductor of electricity.
All these properties are used to design metals for specific use like:
Malleabiltiy can be used to make thin sheets of metallic foil.
Ductility is used for making copper wires.
Sonority is used for making bells
Copper wires are good conductor of electricity
