Flower:

  1. The flower is the blossom of the plant body which contains the male and female gametes.
  2. The important function of flower is to reproduce with the help fertilisation.
  3. A flower consisting of all the four whorls - calyx, corolla, stamens carpel is called a complete flower.
  4. In some flowers, one or more whorls may be missing. Such flow are called incomplete flowers.
  5. Examples: Date palm, mulberry.
