  1. The temperature at which a liquid changes to solid by giving out heat at atmospheric pressure is called freezing.
  2. It is the process of changing a liquid into a solid by cooling.
  3. The process of freezing is the reverse of melting .

Step-2: Condensation

1. The process in which a gas changes into liquid state by giving out heat at constant temperature is called condensation. 2. It is the process of changing of a gas into a liquid by cooling.

3. The process of condensation is the reverse of boiling or vaporization.
