Defining Malleability

1. The word ‘malleable’ means that a substance can be beaten with a hammer to form thin sheets.
2. Malleability is the property of a metal that allows it to be drawn into sheets.
3. It changes with the temperature. Gold$\left(\mathrm{Au}\right)$, Silver$\left(\mathrm{Ag}\right)$, Copper$\left(\mathrm{Cu}\right)$, iron$\left(\mathrm{Fe}\right)$, are the metals that have this property. This trait of malleability is not present in all metals.
