(a) Birth rate: It is defined as the number of children born per 1000 living persons per year.
(b) Death rate: It is defined as the number of deaths per 1000 living persons per year.
(c) Rate of growth of population: It is defined as the difference between birth rate and death rate.
(d) Population density: It is defined as the number of individuals per square kilometer at any given time.
(e) Exhaustible Resource: The resources which are limited in nature and if not used judiciously may exhaust in future, e.g. cola, petroleum, etc.
