1. Pole
2. Centre of curvature
3. Radius of curvature
4. Principal Axis
5. Principal focus
6. Focal length

Solution

1. Pole (P)- The geometric centre of the spherical mirror is called as pole of the mirror. it lies on the reflectinhg surface of the mirror.

2. Centre of curvature (C)- Centre of that imaginary sphere, of which mirror is a part.

3. Radius of curvature (R)- Radius of that imaginary sphere, of which mirror is a part.

4. Principal axis- An imaginary straight line passing through the pole and centre of curvature.

5. Principal Focus (F)- If the incident light rays are travelling parallel to principal axis, then the point on principal axis through which the light rays pass after reflection from the mirror, is called as principal focus.

6. Focal length (f)- The distance between pole and the principal focus is called as focal length.
