(i) Ore: Ore is an impure form of minerals and is freely available in the earth crust.

An example for ore is Bauxite ($A{l}_2{O}_3.2H_{2}O$). Aluminium ($Al$) is going to be extracted from the Bauxite ($A{l}_2{O}_3.2H_{2}O$) ore.

(ii) Gangue: Gangue is the impurity or unwanted substance that is present along with minerals in the ores. Examples for gangue are sand, rock and etc. There are methods, mineral dressing and mineral processing to remove the gangue from the mineral.
