The study of the external form and structure of an organism is called external morphology. The study of the internal structure of organisms is called internal morphology or anatomy.
Histology-
The study of tissues of organisms with the help of microscopes is called histology.
Ecology-
Ecology deals with the study of the relationship of the environment with living organisms and its effect on their structure, distribution, and habitat.
Genetics-
Genetics deals with the study of the heredity or paternal nature of organisms and inheritance.
Biochemistry-
In this branch, we study the metabolic activities of chemical materials, e.g. carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, and pigments.
Pathology-
Pathology deals with the study of different types of diseases in plants and animals, their symptoms, causal agents, and methods of control.
