Dear Student,

a) Thunder is the sound caused by lightning. When lightning strikes, the air gets heated so much that a large crashing sound is heard. This loud explosion sound is called thunder.
Thunderstorm is a storm accompanied by thunder and lightning. Also called lightning storm or electrical storm, the thunderstorm is turbulent weather with lightning and thunder.

b) A tornado is a voilent ,twisting funnel of winds .It is formed when funnel-like column of cold air sinks down from a storm cloud.

C) A typhoon is a violent tropical hurricane/cyclone that occurs in the west Pacific and the Indian Ocean. A typhoon is also a natural disaster. And a tropical storm that forms over the Pacific Ocean, when winds reach 74 mph, it is considered to be a typhoon. A typhoon is a violent tropical hurricane/cyclone that occurs in the west Pacific and the Indian Ocean.

D) Hot air is lighter than cold air. As a result it rises and cold air from above comes down as it is heavier and dense. This is the cause of wind. Wind flow pattern means that in which direction the wind is blowing.
