  1. Diseases that cannot be spread from person to person are called non-communicable diseases.
  2. These diseases are not caused by microorganisms and are confined to the diseased person.
  3. Non-infectious diseases is another term for non-communicable disease.
  4. Heart disease, stroke, cancer, diabetes, chronic lung disease, etc. are examples of non-communicable diseases.
