a) A unit cell is the smallest building block of crystal structure, repetition of the unit cell forms a solid crystal. Example- Cubic unit cell, Hexagonal unit cell etc.
b) A space lattice is an array of points showing how particles (atoms, ions or molecules) are arranged at different sites in three dimensional spaces.
