Define the term linkage.

dear student,
the term 'linkage' literally mean the physical association between two genes. it represents the condition when two genes which are present on the same chromosome & same chromatid and they are so close to eacher that we considered them to be associated with each other becuase when recombination will occur these two linked genes won't get separated from each other and they will be passed togther as a single unit linked with each other.
