Magnetic Field: The space around a magnet in which a magnetic substance such as a small piece of iron experiences a force of attraction is called the magnetic field.
Experiment:
Place a magnet below a sheet of stiff paper.
Now spread some iron filings on it.
On tapping the sheet gently, the iron filings are found to arrange themselves in a definite pattern.
