Homogeneous mixture:

  • A mixture in which its constituents are mixed uniformly is called a homogeneous mixture.
  • A homogeneous mixture is not composed of atoms of constituents that combine chemically.
  • There is no chemical combination of atoms in a homogeneous mixture.
  • The two or more substances are uniformly distributed throughout the mixture.
  • For example - A mixture of black salt particles, common salt particles, sand particles, and turmeric powder.
