1. Hypoxia is a condition where tissues fail to receive an adequate supply of oxygen. For the normal functioning of the brain, it requires a constant supply of oxygen. If there is any obstruction in this supply of oxygen to the brain, then it leads to hypoxia.
2. Asphyxiation is a condition in which the blood becomes more venous by the accumulation of more carbon dioxide and the oxygen supply is diminished.
