Harvesting-Cutting of crop plants after maturation is called harvesting. It is done by cutting the crop plants close to the ground or pulling the crop plants.
Threshing-Separation of grains from chaff is called threshing.
Winnowing-Separation of grains from chaff by the help of wind is called winnowing.
