Solution

Transformation ratio:-

  1. The transformation ratio is defined as the ratio of the number of turns in the secondary coil to the number of turns in the primary coil of the transformer.
  2. It is defined as the ratio of output voltage to the input voltage of the transformer.
  3. Consider the number of turns in the secondary coil is Ns and the number of turns in the primary coil is Np.

The transformation ratio (r) is r=NsNp=EsEpwhere Es and Epare the voltages in the secondary and primary coil respectively.
