  1. If an object moves in a line in such a way that each point of the object moves through the same distance in the same time interval, then the object is said to be in translator motion.
  2. It is of two types - Rectilinear and Curvilinear.
  3. Examples; Apple falling from a tree, earth moving around the sun.
