  1. Transpiration is the evaporation of water from the aerial parts of the plants like leaves while their stomata are open for the passage of CO2 and O2 during photosynthesis.
  2. Stomata are the small pores on the leaves through which respiration occurs.
  3. It also occurs through the lenticels and cuticle.
