Open in App
Solution

Step 1: Definition of uniform speed

  1. If a body travels an equal distance in an equal interval of time or the speed of the body does not change with time then that body is said to be moving with uniform speed.
  2. For example, if a car covers 30 kilometers in one hour and in the next one hour if it covers 30 kilometers then the car is said to be moving at a uniform speed.

Step 2: Difference between uniform speed, uniform velocity

  1. We know the speed of an object in a particular direction is called velocity.
  2. So we can say that when an object moves with uniform speed without changing its direction of motion then the object is said to be in uniform velocity.
