Water cycle

  • The water cycle is also known as the hydrological cycle. It is the natural process by which water is circulated throughout the earth.
  • The sun evaporates water from seas, oceans, lakes and land.
  • Water vapour rises high up in the atmosphere and then condense to form tiny drops on small dust particles.
  • These tiny drops of water together form clouds.
  • When clouds get denser with an accumulation of tiny drops and become too heavy, the waterfalls on earth as rain, snow, hail, dew, mist or frost.
