There are mainly five type of white blood cells:
Granulocytes
- neutrophil- first immune cell to respond when a microorganism enter the body destroy the organism by ingesting them.
Eosinophil
– kill parasites, participate in allergic reactions
Basophils
- mechanism of early cancer cells.
T - lymphocytes
– responsible for cell-mediated immunity.
B- lymphocytes
– responsible for antibody mediated immunity.
