Solution
(i) Wet waste are nothing but the type of waste in liquid form, for example; the wastewater from kitchen, bathrooms, lavatories, laundries and laboratories. (ii) Municipal, domestic and agricultural solid wastes that can be degraded by micro-organism are called degradable or biodegradable wastes. These are further classified into two parts:
Simple biodegradable waste - These wastes are easily broken down by natural processes of decomposition.
Complex biodegradable wastes - The waste material that comes under this category is not easily decomposed. They are resistant to natural processes of decomposition.
