Degree of dissociation of CH3COOH
= Degree of dissociation of NH4OH
=α
concentration given =0.01M
For CH3COOH
conc=0.01m
pH=3
i.e, [H+]=103
Relation of [H+] & α
[H+]=cα
103=0.01α
0.1=α
For NH4OH
α=0.1
conc=0.01M
Hence, [OH1]=cα
[OH]=0.01[0.1]
[OH]=103
Kw=[H3O+][OH]=1014
1014/103=1011 pH=11 Ans
