Democracies that follow a federal system all over the world tend to have two kinds of political parties: parties that are present in only one of the federal units and parties that are present in several or all units of federation. Justify.

See here we are basically talking about National and state parties. National parties have their units in the different federal units, such as Indian National Congress. State parties such as Janta Dal, on the other hand work in any one unit.
