Democracy must be based on free and fair elections justify, it's totally true. This statement means that our government which is elected and formed on the basis of the election it should be free from biasness and any other illegal activities.
During an election, political parties should not bribe people of our country, which usually happens. Political leaders should not appeal for votes from people in name of religion or particular cast.
Because when all these practices happen than a party which win election and forms government is biased and mainly wins by frauds.
