Demonstrate with an activity that gases are highly compressible in nature.
(a) Give reasons for the following
(1) A gas exerts pressure on the walls of the container
(2) A gas fills the vessels in which it is kept

Demonstration:
Take some poweden (Solid) in and try to push it. If will not get pised because solid parhicles are closed to each other not compressible.
Then take some water in the syeing and push it, syringenill move slowly as companed to solid
Then take nothing in the syringe (air). Syring will move assily because gases one largly sapatrated and esy to compress
A gas exert some pressure on the wall of the container because gas particle colliner with eachother and sum of all those collision forces result pressure on the wall
A gas fills the vassel because it can move in all sirection with negligible force of attraction.
