Dertermine the point of the graph of the linear equation 2x+5y=19, whose ordinate is 1x1/2 times the abcissa

Given linear equation is 2x + 5y = 19 … (1)
Given that ordinate is 1 ½ times its abscissa
That is y = 3x /2
Hence equation (1) becomes
2x + 5(3x /2) = 19
19x/2 = 19
Therefore, x = 2
y = 3x/2 = (3 × 2)/2 = 3
Thus the point on the graph is (2, 3).
