Solution
Experiment:
Bring a bar magnet near the poles of small iron nails.
It is observed that most of the nails cling near the ends of the magnet and very few nails cling near the middle.
This shows that the property of attraction is not the same everywhere along the length of the magnet, but it is maximum near the ends and very little in the middle of the magnet.
Hence, we can say that the maximum attractive property is at the poles of a magnet.
