Describe any four occupational respiratory disorders.

There are different types of occupational respiratory diseases.

i) Asbestosis: Due to excessive exposure to the asbestos fibres, there is accumulation in the lungs which results in this conditions.

ii) Silicosis: Due to inhalation of silica particles, there is lung disease which is known as silicosis.

iii) Asthma: This condition is due to the allergy of ant particulate or gaseous matter. This is a condition which may be developed due to the exposure to any material during the working in factories or mines.

iv) Pneumoconiosis: There is development of pneumonia due to the interaction with the coal particles in the mines.
