Solution

Three important features of the Himalayan mountains are

1. The Himalayas were formed about 50 million years when the Indian tectonic plate crashed into the Eurasian plate. They are a relatively young mountain range.

2. The Himalayas are divided into three ranges; Himadri which is the highest, Himachal and the Shivaliks which are the lowest.

3. The Himalayas are the highest mountain ranges on earth.

Himalayas are a geographic feature. We do not learn any values from geographic features. However, if we destroy such a natural heritage, then humanity will suffer greave consequences.
