Plunging ahead of the Mosquito plane, the narrator pulled the throttle to reduce engine speed almost to a whistle, enabling descent. To guide the narrator, the other pilot pulled ahead at three hundred feet. From eighty feet away, he indicated to the narrator to lower the wheels and, once again, another descent. For the next few minutes, the other pilot held on to his position before straightening out suddenly for another dive. Finally, he dipped into the fog bank, guiding the narrator to a successful landing.
