The narrator plunged head of the mosquito only to pull back the throttle so as to reduce the engine speed almost to a whistle, to help in the descent. At three hundred feet, the other pilot pulled out ahead so as to guide the narrator. From a distance of eighty feet, the other pilot indicated to the narrator to lower the undercarriage. Then the other pilot indicated to the narrator about another descent. For the next two or three minutes, the other pilot held on to his position, before straightening out suddenly and then indicating the narrator to dive. Lastly, the other pilot dipped into the fog bank ahead of the narrator to guide the latter to a successful landing.
