Solution
The regions lying close to the equator are the tropical regions. The climate in the tropical regions is variable. There are following three tropical regions:
Tropical wet regions/Rain forests: In these regions, the nights are warm with hot days and a lot of rainfall.
Tropical monsoon regions: In these regions, the winds direction get reversed after every six months; thus, the climate interchanges from hot summers to cool winters.
Tropical wet and dry regions: There are three different seasons in these regions, i.e. wet and hot season, cool and dry season and hot and dry season. There is a little rainfall in these regions.
