Solution
The nitrogen cycle is a biogeochemical cycle of nitrogen, here atmospheric nitrogen is converted into different forms and then is absorbed by the plants and animals. The biotic (living) and abiotic (nonliving) components in the nitrogen cycle are dependent upon each other as nitrogen is the main component of the air we breathe. In the above figure, the interdependence of biotic and abiotic components is explained. Here, the role of animals and decomposers is observed in the formation of atmospheric nitrogen.
