Solution
Telomeres:
A region of repetitive DNA sequence at the end of a chromosome is the telomere.
Telomeres protect the ends of chromosomes from getting tangled.
Every time a cell divides, the telomeres become slightly shorter.
Telomere function gets lost after approximately fifty divisions.
They are maintained by the enzyme telomerase.
