Characteristic of matter.

• The basic unit of matter is atom-atom is the tiniest uncuttable part of matter further divided into the solid liquids and gases.
• The space between the molecule called intermolecular space and attraction between the molecule called intermolecular force of attraction.
• Intermolecular space is minimum and intermolecular force of attraction is maximum in solid respectively.
• Particles have space between them
• Particles are continuously moving
• Particles attract each other
