When you face a dangerous situation, adrenal glands secrete adrenaline, which increases the heart rate and pumps more blood to the skeletal muscles to increase the supply of oxygen to the same. As a result, the blood pressure increases. The amount of glucose in blood increases to provide more energy. Adrenaline increases the heart rate, blood pressure and sugar metabolism in one's body.
Aggressive behaviour is more due to the hormone - testosterone.
