Formation of Swaraj Party

  • Motilal Nehru and C.R. Das founded the Swaraj Party to contest in elections to the provincial council.
Boycott of Simon’s Commission
  • Simon’s commission was a commission headed by John Simon. It was tasked to look into the constitutional system of India.
  • The commission was boycotted by Indians since there were no Indian members in the commission.
