Describe the events which happened in Germany in 1945 when Germany surrendered to allies

Dear Student,

It was the most shameful event for the German public. Germany signed the treaty of Versailles to the Allies which was lost-full for the Germany. Germany had to return the commanding area.

Germany capitulated to the Allies on May 7, 1945. This brought an end to the European conflict in World War II. Alfred Jodl signed the surrender of both east and west forces in Reims. Thus, May 8 was declared Victory in Europe Day.
